Coconut oil helps to soothe the skin, alleviate discomfort and helps it regain its natural healthy state. Fights acne, protect the skin from free radicals, it contains antibacterial and antifungal antioxidants. It can also be used as a moisturizer for both men and women.
Why use Coconut oil to remove makeup you ask?
Simple, It works better than traditional makeup removers that contain alcohol. It also helps the skin by improving fine lines and wrinkles.
How do you use Coconut Oil to remove Makeup?
Get a jar of organic coconut oil, unrefined, extra virgin and or cold pressed it is oily, so scoop out a pea size amount onto a cotton ball. Close your eyes and pass the cotton ball over your eyelids (you can use two cotton balls with coconut oil on them, one for the eyes the other for the face), and pass on your face as you remove makeup. It also works great on removing water proof eye makeup.
When finished wash your face off (use soap), and use a warm wash cloth to remove the residue.
Your skin will thank you, it will feel so moisturized. So don't forget to moisturize after. And the same Coconut oil can also be used as a moisturizer.
